I had a delightful stay at Garden Route Ilita Lodge. the owners were friendly and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the location was easily accessible off the N2, with clear signage leading the way. We enjoyed a comfortable garden room with a balcony, offering breathtaking views. the on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast was a highlight. the secure parking, free of charge, was a great convenience.
I only wish we could have stayed longer and experienced more of what this gem of a place has to offer.

the self catering unit was very spacious, almost too big - but nice for the toddlers.
Curtains needs attention, some bulbs did not work. The website gave us a whole different feel and expectation than what we actually experienced.

Couldn't get enough of the stunning views, scrumptious food, and warm service. Oh, and the ancient forests and world-class golf courses nearby were just delightful.
As if I had the time to find anything negative. The entire experience was simply perfect.

Title: Amazing Stay with Beautiful Decor
I would have loved to see more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing information and recommendations about local attractions and activities suitable for senior people.

We stayed at Ilita Lodge in Great Brak River for a few nights while exploring the Garden Route. The location was amazing, with breathtaking views of the Great Brak River and the sea. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cheese and meat platters for supper were delicious, and the kids loved the milkshakes. The 2-bed apartment was spacious and comfortable, and we had a fantastic breakfast at the hotel. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more.
Would recommend this hotel.
